A global leadership program for youth ages 9-17
|
About the GAE Leadership Program
Students, selected by teachers from Bay Area schools, commit to participating in an after school program with an art and language
curriculum. Students also receive basic education about the culture, people, and history of the country where the group will next visit.
Students, prepare an art project which becomes part of an art show held in each country visited. The show is held for children and
families of these countries to bring Global Arts participants together with peers in other countries.
GAE works with students from economically challenged communities and households, raising all funding for food, travel, lodging and
tours for the youth.
Youth begin in the GAE leadership program between the ages of 9-11 and remain until they reach 17 years of age.
